At Dread or Dead, surfing is not a service we added later — it is the foundation of everything we do.

We have been part of Barbados’ surf scene since 1995, when our business began as a small surf shop focused on board repairs, buying and selling boards, and passing on knowledge to anyone willing to learn. Surf lessons grew naturally from those early days, shaped by real conversations in the shop and real time spent in the water. Over the years, what started with occasional lessons evolved into daily, structured surf programs, without losing the personal connection that defined us from the start.
